The way in which we engage our world is through our mind. Our mind determines what we like and dislike and every other aspect of the things we perceive. Unfortunately, our mind is clouded and obscured by mental hindrances, such as ignorance, accumulated negative karma, negative mental factors, and wrong views. To attain everlasting happiness we need to clear our mind of these hindrances, otherwise we shall not be able to achieve fulfillment of all of our wishes. Learn the basic practices that clear our mind from such hindrances so that we can provide great meaning to our life.

The word karma refers to a special instance of the law of cause and effect, according to which all of our actions of body, speech, and mind are causes and all our experiences are their effects. With such wisdom we can understand why bad things happen to good people, and good things happen to bad people. Each performed actions in previous lives that later result in their individual experiences. What is most important to realize is that our karma is not fixed – we can completely nullify the power of negative karma to produce suffering. Unfortunately, the opposite is also true. We can destroy our positive karma and thus never experience its good results. Change your karma for the better today!
