Everyone is involved in various types of relationships. No one can live completely independently. Thus, the challenge is to create and maintain our relationships as pleasing and fulfilling. What we need to understand is that these aspects can only be cultivated from our side. It is usually inevitable that we expect and or demand others to behave according to our personal standards. This often leads to conflict with others. If we are able to control our thoughts and behavior, then even difficult relationships will benefit us and our lack of reactionary behavior will almost certainly bring mental peace to others.
