Meditation in Buddhism is defined as a method to acquaint our mind with virtue. Virtue is defined as the main cause of happiness. Therefore, meditation is a process that creates our experience of happiness. There are many and varied things that we can choose to meditate on, but certain things produce the greatest and swiftest results for lasting happiness. This course will explore essential meditations that bring real inner peace and lasting happiness that ultimately will transform our life.

It is common that there are certain events in our life that upset us. It be wonderful if we could avoid unpleasant experiences altogether, but this is impossible. Therefore, we should understand that the most important consideration concerning unpleasant experiences is how we react to them. Unfortunately, it is not unusual to hold on to negative experiences and feelings for weeks, months, or even years later. This is a bad mental habit and servers no useful purpose. This course will explore the consequences of such bad habits and the many remedies that will bring inner peace and resolution to such issues.
