Mantra is a special expressive sound, that when recited with faith, is a cause to gain spiritual realizations. How and why this happens will be explored in the half day course. Mantra recitation has various other important applications and these will also be explored.

Tara is an enlightened deity that always appears in female aspect. In general, Tara has a karmic connection with the beings of this world at this time. However, Tara, has a stronger connection with those who practice dharma. We receive this empowerment to increase our karmic connection with Tara, who is a manifestation of our Spiritual Guide. White Tara is symbolizing the attainment of long life. Long life affords us the opportunity to assemble a vast amount of karmic virtue and good fortune potentialities. Thus extending our human life is most beneficial.
